Great site Eddie thanks for all your hard work. Can you please correct the spelling of my name in my last post it is more accuartely Elijah.
Elijah Means My God is Yud Hei Vav Hei.

I would love to see some discussion of Yud hei Vav Hei here and the mediations related to the permutations of the holy name of God:
Yud Hei Vav Hei as it relates to meditation

The mind is a tool. I am NOT my mind. It is merely a tool that I use. I control my mind it does NOT control me. The true me you cannot see.

The best meditiation for me is where you clear you mind and think about nothing, Ayin

Meditation

We spend a lot of time considering trivialities which drain our energy. Just think of the way we can relive an unpleasant incident of the past which will raise both our temperatures and our heartbeats and leave us drained.

Meditation is the process, or method, or discipline by which we learn two things. Firstly we learn the extent to which our minds are occupied with trivialities and secondly we learn a different way of using the mind which gives us more energy and more clarity of thought.
The
Besides the medical benefits of meditation which are very well documented, we also discover something about our unique potential in the process.

Although we you can learn about meditation from books, and indeed my website describes the process www.kabbalahmeditation.org/meditation it is easier to practice of meditation with a guide and with other people.

One needs to learn thet one is not these thoughts or feelings which constantly change and drag down your emotional state and energy with them. You dont realise that you are made in the image of God. Stop imagining that you are this or that . Stop imagining being or doing this or that and the realization that you are the source and heart will dawn on you. With this will come great love ,a power to make all things lovable and love worthy.

“THE LEGITIMATE FUNCTION OF MIND IS TO TELL YOU WHAT IS NOT”? Now, what on earth does that mean? Does it mean that the function of mind is to emphasize the negative? If this is so, then no wonder we all get our knickers in a twist at the slightest provocation, if mind is busy emphasizing all that is negative about what we see and hear.

Maybe someone can see another way of looking at this statement, which you will have seen on an e-mail telling you about half-term.

Who would like to take this forward? I look forward to some interesting analyses.
